[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dispenses like a foam but upon applying becomes a more cream like consistency. It feels luxurious and leaves skin feeling soft and comfortable. It doesn’t have an overpowering fragrance so I imagine would be suitable for sensitive skin.

I tend to use it in the evenings, and hasn’t dried my skin. However my wife has tried it and feels it drys her skin out a bit, so maybe not for every skin type.

It creates a lovely base on my face, which assists the remaining skincare to be layered and absorbed into the skin for maximum benefit. I have preferred using the lotion like an essence rather than a full on toner. But im glad that its possible to use both ways.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed adding this product to my skincare routine. It definitely gave my skin a smooth texture and was the perfect base for my makeup. I also felt for my skin that it moisturised my face enough to either add a very small amount of moisturiser or skip it all together. The only downside (and this could be user error!) the first pump always shoots out, with the second pump being absolutely fine but it put that down to me!
I'm so annoyed with myself. I always read ingredients as I know I have sensitive skin that cannot tolerate SLS. I had assumed, because this product is shiseido, that it would not contain this ingredient (my fault, I know). This completely stripped my skin and I believe it has damaged my skin barrier. Again, this is my fault for not checking ingredients that I know my skin is sensitive to, but I am disappointed that shiseido are using SLS in their products. I had assumed (again, wrongly) that the foam was due to the pump dispenser rather than the ingredients. Now, the positives - my skin was extremely glowy and radiant after using this, my skin definitely felt clean after using it, and I enjoyed the feel of the soft foam on my skin. If you don't have sensitive skin/an intolerance to SLS, I would actually recommend this as I was enjoying using it. Hence my 3 star review.
