This styling milk works wonderfully on my biracial kids' hair! I'm the white parent with no prior experience with curly hair, so I'm constantly experimenting and learning how to care for their hair. I've tried a whole bunch of products and combinations thereof, with varied results. This is by far one of my most successful finds! I'm attaching a couple of photos so you can see what it looks like. The pictures are of my daughter, who is 3 years old, black/white biracial with fine, silky 3b hair. Note: this styling milk isn't the only thing in her hair, so I can't give it full credit for this look, but it is providing most of the definition and hold. Here's a description of how I use it. I wash her hair once a week, and follow with Ouidad Krly Kids No More Knots leave-in conditioner. I tie it up in a protective hairstyle (banded ponytail) and she goes to bed. The next morning, I define her curls with the Shea Moisture Curl & Style Milk, shaping each curl with it around my finger (yeah... it's a lot of work, but I only do it once a week). After her hair dries, it's nice and shiny with beautiful soft curls. I tie it back in a banded ponytail for naps and bedtime, to protect the curls. At the end of each day, and especially by morning, there's some frizz from her just rolling around playing or sleeping, but that's inevitable. Each morning, I touch up the curls that have frizzed, again with the Shea Moisture Curl & Style Milk. Just a little bit with a spray of water. That way she can get through the week looking gorgeous, with minimal daily upkeep. This styling milk provides the best balance of hold, moisture and softness, without feeling greasy or crunchy. In the photos, day 2 and day 4 are the days after hair wash day. On day 4 you can already see a bit of frizz on top, but that was in the evening, after a full day of wear. For a rambunctious 3-year-old, I'd say the curls are holding up quite well! There's only one thing I don't like about this milk - the design of the bottle. The milk isn't really a milk - more like butter! It's thick and can't flow very well. You have to keep the bottle upside down, otherwise it requires a lot of hard squeezing. I wish the cap was wider and more stable so you could store the bottle upside down. Inconvenient, but not enough to drop a star. Otherwise, the product is awesome! UPDATE: It's been several years now that I've been using this product and I still LOVE it! It's the best I've found so far for defining my kids' curls and maintaining that definition throughout the week. It really does last all week, with minor daily touch-ups. My kids are 5 and 3 now and still get a lot of compliments on their curls! The younger one's hair is tighter - closer to a 4, and now that he has some more length to it, the coils hold together all week and he only needs a touch up towards day 4 or 5, and only around his temples. The rest holds up great! I'm including a couple more photos for reference. I can't praise this product highly enough!
Meine Ausgangslage: Ich habe low porosity Haare vom Typ 2b/ 2c mit sehr trockenen Längen/ Wellen/ Locken. Ich suchte: Ein Produkt welches lang anhaltend freuchtigkeit spendet ohne zu beschweren oder die Haare zu verkleben (wie bei schaumfestiger bääh) und Glanz in die löckchen/ Wellen bringt. Pro Was ich bekam: -Ein wohlriechende Haarmilch, überhaupt nicht aufdringlich im Haar und verfliegt auch schnell - cremige Konsistenz die sich gut verteilen lässt im Haar - sehr reichhaltig - Verklebt die Haare nicht - Glanz - Feuchtigkeit die man den Haaren auch am zweiten Tag anmerkt Ich würde das Produkt also wieder kaufen. Tip: Wenn sie keine Typ 3/4 Haare haben und sehr dünnes Haar: Nur ganz wenig von dem Produkt benutzen, da es wie bereits erwähnt sehr reichhaltig ist und sonst im Haar schnell fettig aussieht. Es reicht gut und gerne auch eine erbsengroße Portion, in den Handflächen vereinen und in die Haare kneten, fertig.

Snells amazing gives nice curls, isn’t greasy but it isn’t for my hair type as it is very thick almost like a cream consistency which i’ll have to dilute for my 2A/2B hair for it to work but if you have a curlier hair i think you’ll like it
PREMESSA Ho una folta e lunga capigliatura afro (3c 4a e 4b) e da tempo uso questa marca per i miei capelli che stanno rigenerando. Siccome il prodotto che avevo acquistato prima mi unge troppo il capello, ero in cerca, sempre della stessa marca, un prodotto che nutrisse i capelli senza ungerli troppo per evitare l'effetto " testa sporca che pizzica ". CONSEGNA il pacco è arrivato PUNTUALE insieme ad altri analoghi prodotti da me ordinati lo stesso giorno. La scatola era integra senza segni di usura. PRODOTTO La crema esce con difficoltà dal barattolo, occorre "strizzarlo" con la testa rivolta verso il basso. Ha un odore misto cocco e ibisco, una fragranza molto dolce che ti rimane sul capello nel corso della giornata. Io lo adopro tutti i giorni e devo dire che il capello è nutrito e non si secca durante la giornata ma nemmeno il giorno dopo! Mentre con altri balsami senza risciacquo della stessa marca dopo massimo 3 giorni dovevo correre a lavarmi la chioma, con questo prodotto posso allungare i tempi (li lavo lo stesso ogni 3 giorni ma la testa non si sporca tanto come con il prodotto della stessa marca che usavo prima ) Consigliato , i prodotti di questa marca non posso che consigliarli

احبه استخدمه بعد البلسم كمرطب للشعر المبلل،، وبعدها اما اجففه بالاستشوار او اتركه كيرلي يجنن بجميع الاحوال
اللي شعره جاف نفسي ممكن ما يناسبه كثير ولكن ينفع للشعر العادي وريحته مرررة تجنن
الذي لم احببته هو انه صغير واشتريته لأستخدمة لشعري الكيرلي
الصراحه يعني الي شعرهم ويفي او شوي جاف ما يزبط عليهم لنه يخلي الشعر يابس ويخلي الشعر ينكمش ينفع للكيرلي الي شعرهم زيي ما ينفع كثير
