I get that people are annoyed because the packaging has changed, but you should rate and writing reviews based on the product itself first and foremost. Rating so badly a very good product just because you can't put it in your fancy compact is very misleading. That being said... 1) this powder is one of a king, does exactly what they say in the description; 2) Max Factor, please listen to the people and give them back the old packaging.

I always use this colour, but recently I cannot get the refill out of the casing to put in my mirror compact, there’s no hole to put a pin in?

Got it for testing, so the shade is a bit off for my middle of the winter. In any case, it does blot shining and I've got minimum falloutfrom the cushion but it could benefit from having that strip to put your finger through
I was able to test this for an honest review, i think this product is ok it covered some imperfections but im still figuring out how it would sit well on my face and spread evenly. I just dont like the scent, i think its too strong for me.
Didn't packed properly
Used product for many years. Has anyone in the company gone out for day. Normal thing is to take out compact and touch up makeup. This is impossible with this product and can't even put in compact. Yet your Facefinity compact comes in a lovely compact with mirror. I tried it because of packaging but was not suitable for me. Help please dont want to have to take separate mirror and try and juggle two items when trying to be discreet. The reason for my ratings is the packaging.
I've used this powder for years but have finally given up as I only ever get to use about 1/10th of it before the lid shatters and I can't put it in a make-up bag. I need to travel regularly so am not just keeping it in a drawer at home, but even the latest one that I have only used at home has broken. I wanted to buy a permanent case for it to make it last longer but have read many reviews that this compact 'refill' is glued firmly into the outer case so cannot be removed without shattering completely. Unfortunately the company that owns the brand needs to better understand how people use this product - and I thought Procter & Gamble were the kings of market research ....?
I bought the powder for an old compact. Like other reviewers, struggled to get it out of the pack, when I finally did, the powder was cracked and crumbled. Won't be able to use in my compact now.

I have used this for many years and always had my own mirrored compacts to transfer it. This is no longer possible as stuck with superglue and if you force it, powder just breaks up. Also plastic powder puffs are useless and I buy my own separately now. Have managed for a few years but now find the compacts that the powder is in are so flimsy that the tops just snap and I rarely take mine out, now impossible to be portable. Max Factor listened and restored powder puffs, albeit inferior ones, why not listen to customers again and make the powder transferable or improve your compact. Will have to look at alternative brands which is a shame. Why not make a portable compact that your complete base can fit in? Would be something I would buy.
I've been using 'Light n Gay' for years. It was just right for my light colouring - pale but looked healthy. It seems to have vanished - has it been discontinued? If so, what do Max Factor think fair-skinned ladies can use? Certainly not Creme Puff!!! I'm so disappointed. I thought I could maybe switch to Truly Fair which I used many years ago - what a joke and a waste of money, it's darker than it used to be and it's orange! Not looking forward to wasting money trying to find an alternative. And there's the change from 21g to 14g for the same price. Does Max Factor think we're stupid and won't notice? I'm not expecting a response from Max Factor but I'll see 😣
Like many of your reviewers I have been using crème puff refill with my own mirrored compact for many years (60yrs for me). Like other people, I have been unable to use my compact for quite a few years now due to the superglue used to attach the refill to its case. It is impossible to remove the refill from the case without breaking up the powder, making the powder unusable. Having wasted money on a few refills, which were unusable due to this problem, I gave up and have been using the refill from its case. Now the lids on the cases are so fragile they break up after a short time, making it impossible to carry the crème puff in a handbag. I reluctantly give up and will NOT buy this product again. Why oh why make it impossible to remove the refill from its case?!! Do you read your reviews? I would like an answer.
I have been buying this powder for nearly 60 years and have always been able to transfer it to my mirrored compact to take out with me in my handbag. Can no longer do this as it is stuck fast inside the plastic container, and if I do take this out there is no mirror for me to use. I will not be buying this product again.
I have been using crème puff since the 1960s, taking it out of the plastic container to slot into my compact in my handbag. Now it is impossible to remove from the container. It used to have a small hole in the bottom you could use to poke it out with a pin but that has disappeared. I have ruined several trying to get them out. Could you please use only a tiny bit of glue and reinstate the hole? I should value a reply from max factor
Recently bought Truly Fair and Medium Beige, been using for 40 plus years. I am very unhappy with the orange tinge that has ruined this once go to powder.I can't use it anymore, also the coverage if far inferior to what it used to be. So dissatisfied.
I agree with Gorgorella. Impossible to remove from plastic casing to insert into a compact with mirror, the glue is too strong…..why? I have broken two now, a waste of money, I too will look for an alternative product after many decades.
For years I have purchased this when needed, after a year or so I bought my normal colour today. I couldn't believe they have shrunk it from 21g to 14g, the price still being unchanged. The colour #13 nouveau beige has quite an orange tinge to it, i'm afraid you've lost my future business.
I’ve been using creme puff for years , but now it impossible to transfer it from the plastic packaging into a compact with a mirror and a lid that snaps shut! The only way I can use it is to leave it by make up mirror and not carry it around for touch ups during the day, which is a nuisance. Xxx Shan’t be buying it any more. Wish max factor would leave well alone
I have used truly fair for over 30 years and was horrified to find my face bright orange after using my new batch of powder (3 for 2 offer). What have you done Max Factor? We don’t all want to look like fake tanned orange z listers. It also has a different fragrance and consistency so the coverage is now patchy like a cheap fake product. Not only a waste of money, but will have to spend a fortune trying lots of other brands to find the right colour and coverage for my skin colour. Please revert back to the old product.

Decades of using this and being able to remove to put it into my compact it is now completely impossible to remove without it completely disintegrating I have waisted money on 3 refills and ended up with a mess every time it’s about time you sorted it out.
I have loved this product for decades but never again. Why has the hole been removed making it impossible to put this compact refil into a compact? I tried using a tin opener, knife, screwdriver and just ended up with a broken plastic case, bent metal and powder everywhere. Complete waste of money. Come on Max Factor, please put the hole back in the plastic base.
Quite nice formula, but shade translucent is quite dark and definitely has coverage- I picked up in a hurry but it is not as expected from the name or description. Might make an alright neutral summer shade.
