I have been using this sunscreen for over a week now and would happily recommend it to anyone who cares to listen. It is a very impressive product. When I first received it, I was slightly concerned about the shade I chose and whether I would be able to use the recommended amount, as it is a tinted sunscreen. However, it exceeded my expectations. I have been able to use the full recommended quantity and the shade blends seamlessly into my skin. I also have a video demoing this, which I will add to this review as soon as I work out how to upload it, It leaves my skin looking and feeling glowy without any kind of heaviness and no visible cast. It is perfect for days when you do not want to wear makeup and it layers well under makeup, as I have tried it both ways. I really like the La Roche Posay Anthelios UVAir SPF50 and would definitely recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] • So first of all it’s nicely packaged, small enough to jus pop into your bag to use on the go • I’m mixed race with a medium complexion and my skin feels yellow after a cold winter with no sun. The colour I chose was deep natural which looks so dark straight out of the bottle but gave me a sun-kissed glow which I really needed! • The only down side to this product is it was soo hard to apply to my skin, it seemed like it dried as soon as it hit my skin. I felt like I really had to rub the product in super fast which was annoying. I would have loved this product if the consistency was different and it was easier to apply, as it put my off using daily as it was so much effort to get it evenly spread on my face • Going forward I would happily add this to another SPF just for the bronze glow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is quite thick and difficult to squeeze out of the packaging, but it feels thin and lightweight on the face. It dries down extremely fast, which is in some ways a bonus, but because of the tint and time it takes to squeeze enough out, it's hard to get an evening application before it dries. Once dried down, the sunscreen is very matte and dry to the touch. The shade I received was a bit too dark for me, but the tan shade would have been a touch too light, so I wouldn't mind seeing an inbetween shade or a sheerer tint. The smell is a bit strange and chemical-y but not offensively so. It lasts well under makeup, I had no issues with pilling and it didn't affect the finish. I would try this again but combining deep with the lighter shade.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lovely end-step to a skincare routine. It is nice to be able to see what parts of your face have been covered by suncream as you can see the difference in shades. I will say though it needs a lot of product to be noticeable, which isn't really a bad thing as I'd expect that of suncream, but it did make me look quite orange (I had a medium shade) when I used more. I would prefer a more suncream-like bottle, but it does do its job and I had no problem getting the product out, that is just a personal preference. Using a setting powder over it seemed to make it look a lot nicer on my face, so I would recommend doing that. The texture is fine, the product does not feel sticky or cakey and is very lightweight. Just giving it a 3 star as the shade was quite orange. Perhaps I used too much but a smaller amount would not show at all so I didn't feel it offered any SPF then.
