Even when I trim my hair regularly and use moisturizing conditioners, I still always seem to get them, especially in the same spots. I started using this right after my most recent trim and I’m honestly kind of shocked by the results. I have way less split ends now, especially in my usual problem areas, and I don’t feel like I need to dust my hair nearly as often. It actually feels like those sections are growing back healthier instead of breaking again right away. I also really like that it doesn’t make my hair look oily at all. If you use the right amount, it just makes your hair feel super soft and look a little shinier, not greasy. It feels lightweight but still nourishing, which is hard to find in a hair oil. The packaging itself is super nice too, the dropper is easy to use and there is a lot of oil in the product. Overall would recommend!

At first, it leaves a bit of residue that makes my ends look slightly weighed down, but once it fully absorbs, they actually appear fuller and healthier, not heavy or greasy at all (as shown in my last picture). So far, I’ve only used it when my ends start to feel dry on straightened hair and after a leave-in when wearing my natural texture. I plan to start applying it to my ends for wash-and-gos too, maybe even daily when I take them down. A little goes a long way, which I love. It has a very light, powdery scent that doesn’t linger or interfere with other products. Overall, I really like this serum so far. It leaves my ends feeling nourished and smooth, and I’d consider repurchasing once I run out, especially if I find it helps with length retention and reduces the breakage I’ve been noticing lately.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Kerastase hair care products and this Nutritive split end serum with vitamin-in-oil blend for hair is no exception! I love the glass bottle and drop applicator, although it is easy to dispense too much product at once if not careful. I find that one or two drops is enough for my very long hair, and I usually apply it to clean, dry hair with my my fingers, warming it up in the palms of my hands and lightly running the serum through the mid lengths and ends of my hair. It leaves my hair feeling and looking, softer, silkier, and healthier without weighing it down, as shown in the before and after photos. I have used dry hair oils as well, but this serum feels much more hydrating and repairing for any split ends due to the plant based protein and niacinamide content. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering, so it does not conflict with any other fragrance being worn. I highly recommend this split end serum from Kerastase!

My ends usually feel dry and frizzy, but after applying this serum, they look so much smoother and healthier, as seen in the before and after pictures!! It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, which I really appreciate, and the shine it gives makes my hair look freshly styled even on low-effort days. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a while too. My only concern was the smell, it doesn’t seem to have fragrance but there is a slight smell of rubbing alcohol, but it is not bad and as you apply it goes away and smells fresh. What I love most is how soft and manageable my hair feels after using it consistently. If you’re dealing with split ends or just want your hair to feel more nourished, this serum is totally worth it!!
