(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was recently given a bottle of Givenchy Gentleman Society for free, in exchange for my honest opinion. The package is luxurious. It’s nice enough to sit on the counter. This cologne is beautifully layered. It is well balanced somewhere between warmth and sophistication. It opens with the richness of tobacco and woody notes. As it dries down, the creaminess of vanilla starts to appear and blends with the rich tobacco and earthy tones. The dry down is where this cologne shines. The addition of yellow florals adds a freshness in a very subtle way. This could be worn best in cooler temperatures in my opinion. The silliage is pretty good - you can smell it within about 6 feet. It is not overpowering though. It wear wells also, around 6 hours. Overall, this is one of the nicest mens colognes I’ve smelled in quite awhile. It is both unique and inviting. I’d highly recommend.

If you’re into warm, rich, and slightly smoky fragrances, this one’s worth checking out. It has a unique opening—not too sharp, but definitely noticeable. The dry-down is even better. The amber, vanilla, and Peru balsam give it this warm, slightly sweet, and leathery finish that lingers beautifully. It’s bold without being overpowering, making it perfect for evenings or colder weather. Longevity is impressive—I get a solid 8+ hours on my skin, and even longer on clothes. The projection is strong in the first few hours but settles into a more intimate scent as the day goes on. Overall, Gentleman Society Ambrée is a classy, modern fragrance with just the right mix of depth and warmth. If you like sophisticated, woody-amber scents with a touch of smokiness, this one’s a must-try!

It starts off warm and slightly sweet with a bit of spice—almost like roasted chestnut note. As it settles, it becomes smoother, with woody and floral notes and a touch of vetiver that adds a refined feel. The dry-down is my favorite part—it turns into a warm, slightly smoky mix of amber, leather, vanilla, and a hint of tobacco. It lasts around 6-8 hours on skin, with a strong start that fades into something more subtle. Definitely a better fit for fall and winter, and I’d say it works best for evenings, formal settings, or whenever you want to feel a bit more put together. It has a mature, classy feel, so I think it’s best for someone 25+ who likes elegant and slightly mysterious scents. Not a must-have if you already own something similar, but still a stylish and well-crafted scent. I’d rate it 8.5/10!

I recently had the chance to try Gentleman Society Eau de Parfum Ambrée by Givenchy, which I received for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. While I can appreciate the complexity of this fragrance, it’s not quite for me. The scent opens with nutmeg, juniper berries, and clary sage, which create a spicy, fresh start. As it develops, the Madagascar vetiver, Haitian vetiver, orris, and sandalwood add a woody, earthy layer. The final notes of tobacco, Madagascar vanilla, and Peru balsam give it a warm, sweet finish. For those who enjoy deeper, woody, and slightly smoky fragrances, this might be perfect. However, for me, the blend of spices and earthy tones feels a bit too intense, and the overall scent doesn’t align with my personal preferences. It’s a well-crafted fragrance, but I’d prefer something lighter and fresher. If you like bold, sophisticated scents, this could be a great choice.
