I recently did a fundraiser event in the sun where I was out there all day. I used this before, during, and after and my lips weren’t nearly as crusty, dry, and damaged as they usually are after a day in the sun! I like that it gives a nice, soft, shiny effect and feel. Excellent lip balm, I keep dry, chapped lips & am a long-time user of this balm. My preference is sheer/ no color & longevity, this is that. It's never been sticky or goopy, with just a light scent that's almost honey. This product actually keeps my lips hydrated many hours, my last tube is near the end & I am here looking to purchase more.

This is the only lip product that helps my dry chapped lips. Unfortunately it is too expensive.
I WANT THE PLUM BACK!!! Honestly, Plum was the ONLY reason I loved this product so much. I’ve tried all the other shades and somehow the Plum version was even more moisturizing, smoother, and more flattering than the rest. I truly do not understand why it was discontinued. The color was PERFECT, natural but still visible, effortless, healthy, slightly sophisticated without looking like “makeup. ” Literally the best tinted plum lip balm on the market. Nothing else compares. Now I’m sadly searching other brands trying to find a replacement because this product without Plum just isn’t the same anymore. And the fact that it had SPF too made it absolutely unbeatable. Please bring it back. Best plum tinted balm EVER.
This is the best lip conditioner I have ever found. I have used it a long time and have tried others just to compare, but I always come back to this one. I only buy lip conditioners with sunscreen, and I prefer unscented. This one fits the bill perfectly.

I have been using this product for over 20 years and I agree that it is the best. I used to be able to use it as my only lip product when they offered it in PLUM. UNFORTUNATELY they have discontinued this version and there isn't much point in buying it anymore since there are other products that do dual duty. Sadness in the extreme.
I expected the lipstick 8 hour protectant to be the same as in the tube; it is not. There is an additive which changes the taste and I’m not sure what it is. It could be a little menthol but I don’t know. Whatever it is, the application doesn’t last as long as when using the tubular protectant and does not have the soothing effect. I’ll be going back to the tube.
