Beautiful and lightly creamy. Don’t need a lot. Skin feels great and moisturised.
I noticed the look of the product had changed, looks good but also the cream seems lighter and has a lovely fragrance.
I was recommended to use this product as I have aging skin. Ultimately, I was after a product that would help keep my skin hydrated and supple. The results have been amazing in a short time, I feel my face is softer and more hydrated than it has been in a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First a big thanks to BH for giving me the chance to trial Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Day Cream, this is a brand I usually wouldn’t have considered when shopping for skincare so Ireally had no idea of what to expect. I love the look and feel of the packaging, this luxurious day cream comes in a beautiful glass jar with a gold lid (which is partially made from post-consumer recycled materials) which is enclosed in a cellophane wrapped gold box. The printed information and instructions on the box and pamphlet are tiny and it would be great if it was a little larger and easier to read. The jar contains a feather light cream gel which is a similar texture to some of my favourite face masks. I found that this moisturiser spreads easily and is absorbed rapidly, which helps with my rushed morning routine. Fortunately the smell of this cream is fairly light and disperses rapidly as I am not a fan. Personally I don’t believe claims like “lift and firm” as I have yet to find a product that really does turn back time. Having said that I do feel my skin is more hydrated, a little firmer and plumper and that it helps relax the appearance of my fine lines. My skin has a tendency to be very dry when the seasons change, so this is a moisturiser I would consider using again, particularly in autumn and spring. This product looks and feels fabulous.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm Day Cream has a lovely thick consistency which glides smoothly onto my face.. It makes my skin look amazing. Not only does it protect from harmful rays but it lifts and firms while doing it. It’s very rich and moisturizing with added benefits against the sun with SPF 15.It goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. No stickiness or residue. I loved how hydrated my face felt after using the day cream. It felt soothing and refreshing, and having SPF already included is always a plus You don’t have to use much to get effectiveness from this cream. A little goes a long way. Great for aging skin! I am not overly fussed with the Scent of the cream - not a favourite with me but as long as the cream works - I am Happy The packaging is so divine, luxe and special with its frosty glass and silver lid, it really felt like a treat and my face loves it. The Elizabeth Arden ceramide range is high quality and delivers results. For anyone who has never tried it I would highly recommend it. A Gorgeous product

The Day cream is a lovely dusty pink colour & more like a gel than a cream, light to touch non greasy, easily absorbed & left no residue after applying on face & throat. Skin felt smooth & refreshed however the fragrance is quite strong & took some time getting use to. Would love to purchase but priced at $140 is a bit steep but comes nicely presented in a lovely frosted glass jar with gold coloured lid rather than a tube
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the EA Advanced Ceramide Lift and Day Cream to trial in conjunction with the Night Cream from the same range. The ceramide capsules are a holy grail skincare item for me so I had high expectations for this day cream despite never having tried it before. The cream is packaged in a heavyweight glass jar with a gold lid. The colour of the lid helps to distinguish it from the day cream which has a silver lid. The cream is a lightweight gel consistency compared to the thicker creamier consistency of the night cream. I applied this all over my face and neck, it is easily absorbed leaving it feeling softer and hydrated. The ceramides help to strengthen the skin barrier, and seals in the active serums preventing moisture loss. The EA ceramide range is great for nourishing dry skin and soothes and repairs any damage to the skin.
I’ve been using this for awhile now and I love it, I found that less is more as it is quite a thick cream but would certainly buy again and the spf certainly works as I am fair skinned and burn easily but it has protected my skin.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the packaging of the Day cream with its beautiful frosted glass and gold lid very classy looking. I would be happy to display this on my bathroom shelf. You only needed a pea-sized amount to easily cover your face and decollate. I applied this on freshly washed skin over the Elizabeth Arden brightening ampoule and on its own to compare. the texture of the cream was very luxurious to use it felt like a real treat massaging it onto my skin. The cream took a little while to absorb completely (about 15 minutes) but after it had it left my skin feeling hydrated and plump almost bouncy? I don't really like products with fragrances but the smell of this product was subtle and I didn't dislike it was actually quite pleasant I am very fussy with my fragrances. my skin is very sensitive and I had no issues with this product at all my skin felt calm and moisturised. My skin stayed moisturised and comfortable all day it felt like it had protection from the elements. this day cream does not have sunscreen protection so you would need to apply a separate sunscreen under the day cream. I think this particular product would be helpful in the winter months to combat the drying and dulling effects of the cold and artificial heating.
I got a sample of the day and night cream, I really liked the night cream, but for the day cream I think there's cheaper alternative. Wasn't tacky on my skin or greasy.

I have been using this product for many years and shocked at the change in packaging which has resulted in paint coming off the jars onto your fingers and making creams difficult to apply. I am now looking for a new brand
Not pleased with purchase of this cream as it smells awful. Not sure if the cream came from old stock but will not be buying it again.
Been using this for a month or so. It’s really thick and leaves my face and eyebrows white. It does sink in after about 30 seconds but takes some rubbing in. It seems to make my eyes water too which I think may be due to the thickness. Will not buy again

Fairly soon after I started using this I found that it sort of separated but it qasnt too much of big deal so I carried on using it. Now I'm nearly at the end there is a lot of clear liquid which has to be mixed into the lumps. It's fine when it's done but isn't great. Won't buy again. Should have complained at the start but didn't realise it would get worse. I've never had a cream separate out like this before.
Based on reviews thought I’d give this a go but it is a really thick cream and leaves my skin white until it soaks in. I don’t like the texture and have a whole pot to use!! I wouldn’t recommend and it also doesn’t seem to have done anything for my skin.
I have used this cream for the last seven years, it used to be rich and creamy, but since they changed the formula it feels thinner and more watery. Worryingly it has left my skin red & patchy and feeling dry after only a couple of hours.
I’ve used this product for a year or so now, each time I replace it it’s like a different texture. I had such a bad batch I went out my way to email in to complain as it was separating and not the same consistency. The latest pot I have seems so much thicker than my first cream (which was the first one I bought and loved). Not sure if they’ve changed manufacturer or the formula but somethings definitely off. It also leaves my eyes watering and sore- I don’t put it on my eyes but guessing rubbing on my forehead it naturally slips (same as any other products would) but this cream leaves my eyes red and watering all day to the point they’re sore and I can’t see. Stopped using it immediately. Don’t recommend.
I don’t like this, feels sticky from the jar and isn’t easy to smooth in. Great disappointment, especially as the night cream is lovely.
I used to buy Ceramide Premiere Intense Moisture Cream with SPF 30, but for some reason Elizabeth Arden don't appear to make it any more, so I bought this instead. It's awful! It doesn't get absorbed, it leaves white streaks and rubs off. I will have to find a different cream from elsewhere.
Terrible for me; left my face a deathly white colour and sat on my skin, 'pilling' badly by the afternoon. Stopped using it on my face and just used in on my neck until I finished it. Went back to the Eight Hour moisturiser as fast as I could.
