There's definitely a woody palette, but it's not spicy cedar you might expect. It's as though something as refined as elegant wooden cufflinks were somehow converted to a fragrance. It's also somehow both warm and cool at the same time. I love it, and she love it on me. Highly recommended.

It has a Great fragrance and is very long lasting.

To me Declaration Haute Fraicheur is a citrus, clean woodsy scent. I do like how it smells, but I don't like how it smells on me. The scent changes and not in a good way.

It lasts a reasonable amount of time, but I don't feel like I'm swimming in it, if that makes sense. I apply before I go to work/wherever and can expect to still smell good when I get home. With a name like Declaration, one would expect something that evokes a feeling of power or making a bold statement. The scent to me, isn't making a big declaration, it seems more like a simple statement. It has it airy, fruity scent, which is nice. It isn't overpowering, and overwhelming, which is good.
