[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Calvin Klein is not breaking any boundaries with their Defy fragrance, however with that being said it is definitely a good all around scent that works for any occasion. Although it is advertised as a duo of freshness and woods, I would say it has more of a clean, citrusy than anything. Calvin Klein Defy is not overpowering nor does it smell like pure alcohol when you apply it so that is a plus. The scent lasts hours long and has my approval!

However, when I first sprayed this cologne, I was pleasantly surprised at the strength level, as well as the scent itself. It is a little difficult for me to pin down, but I was say the scent is masculine, with woody notes and it blends well with my natural pheromones. I liked how it smelled better at first, after about an hour descent seemed more generic and manly, but still smelled good. This is a good cologne, but I don't really think it's anything special. This is what you would expect from Calvin Klein and samples in magazines or at department stores. I would say it's definitely worth a try!

Ok,this juice is a easy reach for casual,every day wear. There is a vanilla floral note that blends nicely with a chocolate cocoa note.That lavender chocolate stays throughout the distance of the fragrance.Longevity is a solid 9 + hrs with moderate to good projection for the first 1.5 hrs..Nothing earth shatterering but still nice!

Kind of a slept on aromatic fresh scent from Calvin Klein. Great for daily office or casual wear with decent longevity and projection especially with a few extra sprays.
The EDT was great but the leather note in this made me but this fragrance. Projection is not the best and longevity is just okay. The scent alone is really, really good. Can be worn many different situations.
It started with a clean soapy blue scent type of lavender. As it dried down, it became more powdery and the cacao shows it self there. If you go in for a closer sniff, you can smell the pepper there. My brain is connecting the dots and telling me that its F black by Ferragamo kind of pepper but with a powdery chocolaty base. Is this something very complex and unique ? Not really. Does it smell good tho ? yes it does. Looking for a clean chocolaty powdery scent thats not sickeningly sweet and has good projection and longevity ? give this a try.

Transitioning into the dry down the leather and vetiver are the focal points. This is a very easy to wear and mass appealing leather, nothing harsh or brash about this. Overall, it’s a simple yet appealing scent profile. My only gripe is that it’s a very subtle scent, some people might find that appealing though. If this lasted a little longer and was a little louder this would be an easy purchase

I had this fragrance a couple years ago and it was ok. Nothing special but it did something very nicely. For example, the value for money is pretty good for the 100ml. It is not a very complex scent it is kind of basic but you get what you pay for really it’s not horrible it’s not to good. The packaging is also basic for a designer. It isn’t a very strong fragrance but for an everyday it works out just fine. It ingredients are just like any regular fragrance.
I bought this as a gift and they really liked it. It seems so fresh and bold at the same time but not to over powering. I would purchase this again for a gift for someone.
