This was on my sister's vanity on a recent visit. She urged me to try it, and I was impressed with how this single product removed all of my makeup and the film from a day of sightseeing in Chicago.I immediately added to my arsenal and use it most nights because it doesn't strip my skin of its moisture while removing everything I want off my face. I was disappointed when the pump failed. I didn't want to throw out the remainder, so I took off the pump and decided to see if the cleanser could remove foundation and blush from my makeup brushes as effectively as it does from my face. WOW! I started with brushes that I couldn't get clean using two different "makeup brush cleaners", cleansing oil, face soap and then hand soap. I wet the brushes, dipped them in the Avene cleanser and then used the side of my porcelain sink to massage the brushes with a little more water. It was shocking how much additional makeup came out of my brushes, confirming my suspicion that many cleansing oils, facial cleansers and toners leave residual cosmetics on my skin. I now travel with the foam cleanser, because it replaces four products in my travel kit.

My favorite cleanser! I love how gentle and soft it is. It doesn't strip my skin, and it leaves it feeling clean. I will say that when my face feels particularly oily and gross I do a double-cleanse with this -- one cleanse doesn't do quite enough. But other than that, I love it!

Looovee this product, at first I was scared due to the smell because I have sensitive skin but it didn’t make me break out or cause an irritation. The smell is rosy and clean not a bad smell just not something someone who uses sensitive non scented products is used to! Over all a great product makes my face feel clean without the drying sensation after especially after using makeup!

Der Schaum ist ein mildes Reinigungsprodukt und hat mir geholfen meine PH Balance wieder herzustellen und somit die roten dicken entzündeten Unreinheiten vollends in den Griff zu bekommen. Ich komme mit einer Dose knapp 8 Wochen hin, Anwendung morgens und abends, make up geht leicht und gut ab.

Best cleanser
I’ve been using this product for 5 or 6 years and love it, but the new and improved formula is a disappointment. It’s got a funny chemical/ acetone like scent and almost a stinging quality. I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t cause any issues, but I hope they return to the previous formula or find a way to make it less scented and feel gentle again. I may try a different product but it hard when this has worked so well for so long!
Was hoping to find cleanser that didn’t irritate my skin. This cleanser is soothing except for the heavy fragrance. If not for the fragrance I would rate this cleanser highly. The scent is just way too strong

The product arrived without a cap!
I used to love this product and am so disappointed. The pump is malfunctioning while the bottle is still half full. This is not the only Avene product to have pump function issues. Their Retrinal pumps have issues as well. As much as I love this company, I am going to have to find another product if I cannot rely on their packaging to function properly at this price.
Irritated my eyelids so badly that I had to seek medical treatment. Not for sensitive skin.
